We continue our Iceland adventure with a trip around the Golden Circle, the route upon which many of Iceland’s natural wonders can be found. We hope you agree that the scenery is, at times, quite Tolkien-esque. 😉

Thanks! I had to stand in the rain and cold for at least a quarter hour to get enough shots to do the 80s montage, so I’m glad it was appreciated. Not that I was unhappy to do it because, as you say, seeing the geyser erupt was pretty awesome!

Iceland does not draw me (too cold and windy lol) however loved the post, 80s hair – yeah, go horsies!!! and liked Luke’s little Hobbit bits 🙂
It was only cold and windy at times – other times it was quite sunny. And the cold can be worth braving to see the scenery, like the glacial lagoons. Either way, it’s definitely an interesting place to visit!
