Just a quick one in which we take a wander around Lake Mburo National Park (on foot, for the first and only time while on safari) in search of animals.

In this episode we participate in what many said was the highlight of their tour through Africa – trekking in to a national park to get up close to gorillas. We felt so lucky to see this family interact, particularly the youngsters who were extremely rambunctious! We can all highly recommend this experience if you ever get the chance!
Another safari episode! So much African animal spotting!
Also, apparently Kat thinks it’s getting hot in here.
One for the African animal lovers! In this episode we safari through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and have some amazing encounters with the native wildlife. We see some of the big cats up close and get to watch the lions hunt and play.
Also, how cute are baby lions?! SO CUTE! 😀
On this episode of Here Comes The Planet we head out to the Serengeti for our first safari, and spot a good number of animals! As exciting as it was, to get there we had to drive many hours over what was by far the worst “road” many of us have ever had the displeasure to experience. Worth it in the end, but only just!
Also, we take a sneak peak at the location of what will be the location of our next safari, the Ngorongoro crater.
Special thanks to our travel companions Pete and Deb for loaning us their footage to use in our video!
